Coming home on a Sunday afternoon from my recent adventure out of town. I remember that there are clothes that needed to be washed  for the start of another workweek tomorrow.

It’s too late to use one of the many laundry shops downstairs, As you well know laundry shops are a dime a dozen around condominium buildings. But although there are a lot of them to choose from, it’s impossible to find one that can have your laundry ready for the next day. And it’s my super super never ending problem.

I thought I could do it on my own, but as luck would have it,  it started raining so there’s no way my clothes would dry in this downpour.

Rainy afternoon

Just as my stress level was in the red, and when I thought all hope was lost. Across the street, I spot this new do-it-yourself laundry place.. hmmm curious… like that one in that Mr.Bean episode?…

wow!!  huge washing machines

As i walk in the door, 2 things are definitely different from that self-service laundry picture I have in my head. the picture I always see in those TV shows or movies.

  1. this place is colorful & cozy. There are couches & outlets for you to charge your gadgets, and soon they will even have wifi and be open 24/7

the ambiance is also very good….
  2. As you walk in the door, there are friendly staff that assist you, basically they help explain the whole process & give you a walk through of the machines. Nice & friendly for noobs like me to the whole DIY laundry thing.
The friendly staff are ready to assist you, very cooperative and nice service..

if you are  a first timer? don’t be afraid because friendly staff are willing to assist you… ( kids are super super so excited !! )

Although they do not wash their own clothes at home, but here the children are excited about learning, and the kids are welcome to do their laundry whenever they want.

If you are forgetful like me and forget to bring soap, fabric conditioner or bleach, don’t worry as they also sell these products.

you can buy your detergent and fabric softener and bleach here..

this cute kid, bought  detergent here, she forgot to bring her own.

Quicklean uses SpeedQueen machines. The machines are of course all industrial grade and made in America. According to the guy I spoke with, they are the only authorized distributor for this machine in the Philippines.

Separate your whites & colors beforehand to save time.

when the kids are learning their chores the staff teach them how to use the machines

Maximize your load for each machine. since 6.5kgs is the minimum capacity for each wash load make sure to have at least 6.5Kgs. for each white & colored load.

while the dryer minimum capacity is 8Kgs. you can mix both white & colored when drying.

you can choose to 19mins, to 24mins or 29mins.

waiting to dry, while raining so badly outside

there are  instructions on the wall to guide you as well

Rags are not allowed to be placed in any of the machine here..

and i’m sorry pets are not allowed inside and no smoking…

nice concept. Easy to use and really quick. Way to go !!!!

The clothes feel fresh again…

they are open daily…

It was good experience for me, for a first timer like me,the facilities provided  are very good,…

located in Linear Condominium Bldg. Malugay street Makati City
